Week of 2/5-2/8

Hi everyone! Popping in to give everyone a mid-winter update.

Currently we are battling ice, a washout in the arena, wild swings in temperature, etc., so the horses have had a bit of a break. When we are ready to start lessons again we will let everyone know, but that may be a few weeks out. However, next week we will open registration for the spring 8 week sessions and summer camps, so keep your eye out!

We’re bringing back set times for volunteering. If you need a horsey fix while lessons are on pause, you can come hang out at the barn with us! This is a great way to practice your horsemanship skills this time of year.

Reber Valley Riders 4-H: We’ve rescheduled your Saturday practice. Next week on Tuesday and Thursday I will have “office hours” at Adeline House from 5:30-7:30. You can work on your Horse Communications presentation, practice on the buzzers for Horse Bowl, and study for Hippology. Please RSVP! We are looking for volunteers to bring snacks. Your club schedule with all info is here.

Don’t forget our Horse & Rider Fitness Challenge! Registration is open until March 17. If you don’t have a horse and/or would like to help a CSG lesson horse get in shape for the riding season, talk to Chauntel and we may be able to partner you up with one of ours! More info & to sign up here.
