Beginning of Winter updates 2022

We’ve just returned from Equine Affaire and can’t wait to share with y’all! Firstly though, we’d like to update everyone on our program going into winter.

We have sent in most of our lesson saddles for repairs and updates with Mikayla Pick, The Saddle Gal. While this will be a big improvement for our students, it sadly means we’ll be suspending our regular classes until our equipment comes back in. For the next few weeks, while the weather allows, we will be focusing on students with their own horses and training horses in our program.

The Reber Valley Riders 4-H club is in full swing and gearing up for the 2023 horse contests! (i.e., hippology, horse bowl, and horse judging.) We are always accepting new members – please contact Essex County CCE to enroll.

Volunteer shifts are posted for anyone who would still like to hang out with their favorite horses – you can sign up for volunteering here! We also are offering gift certificates for the holiday season, and we have some exciting projects in the works that we can’t wait to share with everyone.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Chauntel at 518-578-2392 or CSGhorses@gmail.com.

Autumn 2022 Schedule

Hi everyone! This is the schedule for the fall 2022 season!

There is volunteering available for most days on Vagaro – if you would like to volunteer at a different time, text/call Chauntel at 518-578-2392. Please remember volunteering is only available for current students or members of the Reber Valley Riders 4-H Club.

Please remember that these schedules are tentative. Class times are subject to cancellation or change due to weather, conditions, under-enrollment, etc. We do our best to reschedule but cannot guarantee make-up times.
